\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tForests are true marvels: they give us oxygen, store CO\u2082, provide a home for animals and plants – and offer us humans a place to breathe. Since our foundation, we have been committed to the protection and reforestation of forest areas in Germany. With every tree, we create habitats, places for recreation and make a real contribution to environmental and climate protection. But Peter plants<\/strong> is more than that. Since 2021, we have also been dedicated to protecting bees and other insects – the little heroes that keep our world in balance. Our goal:<\/strong> people and nature in harmony. How we achieve this<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

With our “Iss das Gr\u00fcn” and “Iss das Bunt” campaigns, we show that conscious enjoyment can do more than just fill you up. For every vegan or vegetarian burger you enjoy, we plant a tree – giving nature a new habitat and animals a home. But that’s not all: with “Iss das Bunt”, we also create five square meters of flowering meadow – full of colors, scents and life. A paradise for bees, butterflies and all the little helpers without whom our world would be silent. In this way, a piece of the future grows from every bite – for people, animals and nature. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

What began as an idea has grown year on year. We were already able to plant 100,000 trees in 2021, followed by 147,321 in 2022 and a further 157,102 young seedlings in 2023. Each one represents hope, fresh air and new life. Since 2021, we have been protecting and caring for around 1,000 hectares of mixed forest as part of Peter pflanzt – a valuable habitat for animals, a refuge for people and a green lung for our climate. <\/p>

At the same time, ever larger flowering areas were created: 600,000 m\u00b2 of flower meadows were sown in 2021 and 2022, followed by 678,215 m\u00b2 in 2023. In 2024, we reached a new milestone with 834,070 m\u00b2. Within four years, almost three square kilometers of colorful habitats have been created, which we have returned to nature together. Today, wild bees, bumblebees, insects, birds and small animals are humming, fluttering and living there again, finding food, shelter and a home. Since 2019, we have been supporting projects for children and young people in kindergartens, schools, clubs and social organizations with Peter hilft – with heart, commitment and now over 760,000 euros in support. We bring help to life: in our workshops, children discover new strengths – in cooking, dancing, cycling and many other formats. In 2022, we provided 50 children’s and youth teams with new jerseys. In April 2023, 30 children were also able to proudly take their seahorse badge. This creates experiences that strengthen – and perspectives that last. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
