We all need them – fresh air, green forests, living nature. They are our home, our peace, our strength. That’s why we plant trees and flowering meadows to give something back to the earth. Every tree we plant, we plant for a climate that remains stable, for biodiversity that hums and lives – and for a future that can breathe.

How we achieve this
With our “Iss das Grün” and “Iss das Bunt” campaigns, we show that conscious enjoyment can do more than just fill you up. For every vegan or vegetarian burger you enjoy, we plant a tree – giving nature a new habitat and animals a home. But that’s not all: with “Iss das Bunt”, we also create five square meters of flowering meadow – full of colors, scents and life. A paradise for bees, butterflies and all the little helpers without whom our world would be silent. In this way, a piece of the future grows from every bite – for people, animals and nature.
In figures
What began as an idea has grown year on year. We were already able to plant 100,000 trees in 2021, followed by 147,321 in 2022 and a further 157,102 young seedlings in 2023. Each one represents hope, fresh air and new life. Since 2021, we have been protecting and caring for around 1,000 hectares of mixed forest as part of Peter pflanzt – a valuable habitat for animals, a refuge for people and a green lung for our climate.
At the same time, ever larger flowering areas were created: 600,000 m² of flower meadows were sown in 2021 and 2022, followed by 678,215 m² in 2023. In 2024, we reached a new milestone with 834,070 m². Within four years, almost three square kilometers of colorful habitats have been created, which we have returned to nature together. Today, wild bees, bumblebees, insects, birds and small animals are humming, fluttering and living there again, finding food, shelter and a home. Living proof that something big can grow from many small decisions – nature that we are bringing back together. 🌱🌼
Unsere Blumenwiese
Parallel dazu entstanden immer größere Blühflächen: 2021 und 2022 wurden jeweils 600.000 m² Blumenwiese angesät, 2023 kamen 678.215 m² hinzu. 2024 erreichten wir mit 834.070 m² einen neuen Meilenstein. So sind innerhalb von vier Jahren fast drei Quadratkilometer bunte Lebensräume entstanden, die wir gemeinsam der Natur zurückgegeben haben. Heute summt, flattert und lebt es dort wieder: Wildbienen, Hummeln, Insekten, Vögel und Kleintiere finden Nahrung, Schutz und ein Zuhause. Ein lebendiger Beweis dafür, dass aus vielen kleinen Entscheidungen etwas Großes wachsen kann – Natur, die wir gemeinsam zurückholen. 🌱🌼
Unser eigener Honig – süß, regional, lebendig
Was wäre eine Blühwiese ohne die Bienen, die ihr Leben einhauchen? Seit wir Blühflächen anlegen und Lebensräume für Insekten schaffen, war der nächste Schritt nur konsequent: eigener Honig – direkt aus unser Region, von Bienen, die in unserer Natur zuhause sind.
Unser Honig entsteht dort, wo Peter pflanzt wirkt. Er ist das süße Ergebnis von Millionen fleißiger Flügel, blühenden Wiesen und der Überzeugung, dass echte Nachhaltigkeit schmeckbar sein sollte.

Mit unseren Kampagnen „Iss das Grün“ und „Iss das Bunt“ zeigen wir, dass bewusster Genuss mehr kann, als satt machen. Für jeden veganen oder vegetarischen Burger, den du genießt, pflanzen wir einen Baum – und schenken der Natur damit neuen Lebensraum und den Tieren ein Zuhause. Doch damit nicht genug: Mit „Iss das Bunt“ lassen wir zusätzlich fünf Quadratmeter Blühwiese entstehen – voller Farben, Düfte und Leben. Ein Paradies für Bienen, Schmetterlinge und all die kleinen Helfer, ohne die unsere Welt still wäre. So wächst aus jedem Bissen ein Stück Zukunft – für Mensch, Tier und Natur.

Our initiative is committed to giving children better opportunities, a better quality of life and positive prospects for the future.

We achieve this by not only claiming proximity, but by living it. For us, Peter hilft means becoming active where support for children and young people really makes a difference. Our initiative is committed to giving them better opportunities, more enjoyment of life and positive prospects for the future. Whether through creative activities, practical support or promotional offers: We create spaces in which children can grow and the help becomes tangible. This is exactly how we give every project the chance to make a lasting impact – for today and for tomorrow.
How we achieve this
Since 2019, we have been supporting projects for children and young people in kindergartens, schools, clubs and social organizations with Peter hilft – with heart, commitment and now over 760,000 euros in support. We bring help to life: in our workshops, children discover new strengths – in cooking, dancing, cycling and many other formats. In 2022, we provided 50 children’s and youth teams with new jerseys. In April 2023, 30 children were also able to proudly take their seahorse badge. This creates experiences that strengthen – and perspectives that last.

What is Peter hilft?
Peter hilft is an initiative of Peter Pane and is dedicated to supporting projects that promote the advancement and development of children and young people. Every child – regardless of their origin and social background – deserves a carefree childhood. Supporting children is particularly important to us. That is why we are involved with financial aid and our own projects.
Which projects does Peter hilft support?
We support projects dedicated to the advancement and education of children and young people. These are e.g. equipment for clubs, kindergartens, schools and other relevant organizations. To date, we have supported over 450 projects with more than 760,000 euros and plan to expand our commitment in the coming years.
What is Peter pflanzt?
Peter pflanzt is our promise to combine enjoyment and responsibility. Together we create new habitats – with trees, flowering meadows and the aim of giving something back to nature that lasts.
How do we do that?
By acting instead of just talking. Step by step, we allow trees to grow, flowers to bloom and habitats to develop – together with our guests and partners, sustainably and with real impact.
